Ticket purchased on board the vehicle providing the regular public passenger transport service, valid for one trip on the route taken during the journey in which it was purchased, and may not exceed the fare zones for which it was purchased.
Ticket purchased on board the vehicle providing the regular public passenger transport service, applicable to children between 6 and 12 years of age inclusive, valid for the trip made during the journey in which it was purchased and which does not exceed the fare zones for which it was purchased.

Ticket purchased on board the vehicle providing exclusively the aerobus service, valid for one trip only.
Ticket purchased on board the vehicle providing exclusively the aerobus service, applicable to children between 6 and 12 years of age inclusive, valid for one trip only.
Prepaid Tickets Municipal | Intermunicipal
Ticket purchased prior to the trip and top-up onto a GIRO ticket card, in sets of two or more trips, valid exclusively on regular public passenger transport service routes, excluding the Aerobus service. Each trip entitles the holder to make an unlimited number of journeys, provided the fare zones corresponding to the purchased ticket are not exceeded, subject to the respective validations being made within a period of 45 minutes from the initial validation of the trip and with the same operator for municipal travel documents, or within a period of 90 minutes from the initial validation of the trip and with any operator, for intermunicipal travel documents.
Ticket eligible for children aged between 6 and 12 years (inclusive), purchased prior to the trip and top-up onto a GIRO ticket card, in sets of two or more trips, valid exclusively on regular public passenger transport service routes, excluding the Aerobus service. Fare Zone:
The fare system comprises 4 types of zones:
a) Municipal: covers trips that do not exceed the geographical area of the Municipality for which it was acquired, in all Public Service routes, except aerobus service, of the operator or operators serving that municipality in RAM.
b) Intermunicipal: covers trips throughout the Madeira island and the Porto Santo island, in all Public Service routes, except the aerobus service, of any operator in RAM.
c) Regional: covers trips throughout the Madeira island and the Porto Santo island, in all Public Service routes of any operator in RAM, including aerobus service.
d) Aerobus: covers trips on the aerobus service to and from Madeira international airport that are included in this service.
