Starting August 26, 2026, the Horários do Funchal public transport network will feature a new bus stop sign configuration. This update aims to improve the identification of stops and routes for different operators.

The main change is in the stop code number, which will now have 5 digits and will not include letters. This change will be gradually implemented at all stops on the Horários do Funchal network, in timetables, and on digital platforms.

Information on the new bus stop sign:
1. Stop code.
2. QR code with a direct link to real-time information for that stop.
3. Stop name.
4. Route numbers, presented in the following order and colors:

• HF - Yellow background and black letters;

• CAM - Blue background and white letters;

• SIGA RODOESTE - Gray background and white letters;

• Aerobus - Green background and white letters.
