Student passengers resident outside RAM who prove they are staying in RAM for an internship, volunteer work promoted by services of the Regional Government of Madeira, an exchange program, or covered by the Erasmus program, for the duration of the internship, volunteer work, exchange, or Erasmus program. 

Student passengers, in the year they complete 12th grade and while awaiting admission to higher education, during the period between the end of secondary education and October 31 of that same year.

Student passengers who prove they are enrolled in courses promoted by certified training entities, for the duration of the course, as well as those enrolled in Activity and Inclusion Training Centers (CACI).

These cases are subject to submission of supporting documentation (internship, volunteer work, exchange, Erasmus, course or CACI). In these cases, submission of the document proving residence in RAM is not required.
