How to Choose the Right Ticket?

Traveling in Funchal by public transport is simple, but choosing the right fare can help save you time and money. Follow our recommendations:

Long Stays: If you're staying with us for an extended period, the most economical and convenient option is the 30 days Pass. Travel without limits and with complete freedom.

Short Stays: For those visiting for a few days, we have several occasional tickets available to suit your travel pace. 

Attention to the Zone:

• Municipal Fare: If your trips are exclusively within the municipality (for example, Funchal).
• Intermunicipal Fare: If you plan to explore the island and travel between different municipalities (for example, to go to Curral das Freiras, this is the recommended fare).
• Regional Fare: If, in addition to exploring the island, you intend to use the Aerobus service.

Tip: For short stays, we recommend purchasing prepaid tickets loaded onto a GIRO ticket card. It's the most economical and quickest way to travel.
