Horários do Funchal informs that, on the occasion of the Chestnut Festival in Curral das Freiras, it will implement a reinforced service for route 181 on November 1st, 2026, to facilitate access for residents and visitors to the event.
The company intends, in this way, to guarantee an adequate response to the expected high demand. The service to be provided on this day will correspond to the Sunday and holiday timetable, with the last return trip to Funchal scheduled for 20h35.
To optimize passenger flow and service efficiency, specific departure points have been defined:
Regarding fares, tickets purchased directly on the bus cost €2.65 per trip for adults and €1.30 for children aged 6 to 12.
Horários do Funchal emphasizes that, in addition to on-board tickets, all valid transport tickets on the network will be accepted, namely prepaid tickets and valid intermunicipal passes.
