Prepaid trips on the HF urban network can be used with old Horários do Funchal (HF) passes and tickets under the following conditions:

• Last day to load trips: January 10, 2026;
• Last day to use the trips: February 28, 2026.

You van only top up prepaid HF trips at Payshop agents. Please note that it is not possible to top up tickets at HF ​​service counters or HF automatic machines.

Old HF GIRO ticket and old HF GIRO pass with chip, with prepaid trips:
• Trips loaded until January 10, 2026, can be used until February 28, 2026;
• Trips not used by this date will not be transferred to the new system nor will they be refunded;
• These trips are valid exclusively on the Horários do Funchal (HF) urban network, using the old validator.

Notes:
• No refunds will be given under any circumstances. Prepaid trips must be used until February 28, 2026.

We encourage all customers to pay attention and manage their prepaid HF trips, ensuring their use is valid until February 28, 2026.
