Normal itinerary to roundabout Sá Carneiro, then goes to Avenida do Mar (south), then the normal itinerary.

Route 05A - trips via Pontinha

a) Trips 08h50 and 13h50 - departures from Zona Velha da Cidade, then goes to Avenida do Mar, Rua Jerónimo Dias Leite, roundabout Infante, Rua Brito Câmara, Rua Eng. Jaime Ornelas Camacho, tunnel, roundabout Harvey Foster (turn around), Rua Carvalho Araújo, then the normal itinerary.

b) Trips 12h25 - departures from Largo da Paz, and 17h25 - departures from roundabout Lido, goes trough Rua Carvalho Araújo, roundabout Harvey Foster (turn around), tunnel, Rua Eng. Jaime Ornelas Camacho, Avenida Calouste Gulbenkian, roundabout Infante, Rua do Conselheiro, then the normal itinerary.

Route 05B

Normal itinerary to Rua do Bom Jesus, then goes to Rua 31 de Janeiro, Largo Severiano Ferraz, São João, Rua da Carreira, Cruzes, Largo Severiano Ferraz and Rua 5 de Outubro (Tribunal).
